HummingDeck plans control document and Room limits, analytics history, team seats, access features, and workspace customization. The Billing page shows the current plan and is the source of truth for available upgrades.
Single-person and team plans
Free and Starter are single-person plans. Pro and Business use paid seats for team workspaces.
Plan limits can include:
- documents and folders;
- active document links and Room recipient links;
- Rooms and documents per Room;
- analytics and activity retention;
- team seats;
- features such as Restricted Access, discussions, HTML ZIP bundles, and custom domains.
Trials
Paid-plan trials run for seven days. The app shows the remaining time and directs the owner to Billing before access ends.
If the trial expires, choose a paid plan or continue on Free. Free limits apply after a downgrade, but existing records are not automatically deleted simply because a higher-plan feature is no longer available.
Feature gates
Some features are unavailable on lower plans. Others remain readable after a downgrade but cannot be enabled again until the workspace returns to an eligible plan.
For example, a workspace may be allowed to turn downloads back on after a downgrade, while turning downloads off again requires the eligible plan. This prevents content from becoming trapped behind a control the workspace can no longer manage.
Active-link limits
Revoked links do not consume the active-link limit. An expired link can still count while it remains active because its expiration can be changed later.
Room recipient links use their own Room limit. The document shares created behind a Room recipient link do not consume the standalone document-link quota.
Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel
Workspace owners manage the subscription from Billing. Upgrades can take effect through the checkout flow. Cancellations normally leave the paid plan active until the end of the current billing period.
Before downgrading, review active documents, links, Rooms, members, analytics retention, and gated controls. Remove excess usage deliberately rather than discovering the limit during an urgent send.
For invoices, tax questions, refunds, or a billing state that does not match the account, open a Billing support ticket and include the relevant invoice or subscription details.
