No. They receive a link and can view the room immediately — no signup, no app install, no friction.
What can I embed in a room besides documents?
Loom and YouTube videos, Calendly scheduling links, Typeform and Tally forms, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides, Figma, Miro, Pitch, Gamma, and more. Anything with an embed URL works.
How is this different from our HRIS or ATS?
Your HRIS confirms a document was sent. HummingDeck shows you what was actually read — which sections, for how long, and whether the recipient approved or requested changes. It works alongside your existing tools, not in place of them.
Can I use it for eNPS or employee surveys?
Yes. Embed a Typeform or Tally survey directly in the room. Employees complete the survey without leaving the portal. You can combine it with documents, videos, and scheduling in the same room.
What about sensitive documents like offer letters?
HummingDeck supports email verification for viewers, link expiration, access revocation, and encryption in transit. You control who can access your documents and for how long.
What file formats are supported?
PDF, PowerPoint (PPTX), Word (DOCX), HTML, and Google Docs (imported and converted to PDF). Most common business document formats are supported.
Can we use our own domain?
Yes. Custom domains are available on the Business plan. Your shared links will use your company's domain instead of hummingdeck.com.
