Questions before the test
HummingDeck and Dock FAQ
Is HummingDeck cheaper than Dock?+
For a paid one-person or five-person Room workflow, HummingDeck has the lower public entry. Starter is $10 per month for one user. Five Pro users cost $125 per month. Dock Standard costs $350 per month and includes five internal users plus a broader platform.
Which free plan is better?+
Dock Free is the broader platform pilot with ten total workspaces. HummingDeck Free is the smaller focused test with one Room, one mutual action plan, three documents in the Room, and basic current view tracking. Choose based on the paid workflow you expect to need.
Does HummingDeck provide the same document analytics as Dock?+
HummingDeck Starter and above provide per-page recorded time, completion, engagement flow, supported clicks, return visits, and approximate geography. Dock publicly documents workspace views, clicks, downloads, action-plan activity, and CRM-connected signals, while marking PDF time per page and the PDF drop-off report as coming soon.
Can HummingDeck replace Dock's order forms and e-signature?+
Keep Dock or another commercial-document platform when quotes, approval rules, signable order forms, and legally binding e-signature must stay in the workflow. HummingDeck starts from finished content and does not create proposals, order forms, contracts, or electronic signatures.
Does HummingDeck integrate with HubSpot or Salesforce?+
Close CRM, Slack, Google Workspace, and Zapier are the current HummingDeck paths. HubSpot MAP integration is marked coming soon, and HummingDeck does not provide a native Salesforce integration. Dock includes Salesforce and HubSpot on Standard and above.
How much do HummingDeck and Dock cost for five users?+
Five HummingDeck Pro users cost $125 per month on monthly billing or $1,200 per year on annual billing. Dock Standard costs $350 per month and includes five internal users, which equals $4,200 across 12 monthly payments. The plans are not feature-equivalent.
Is HummingDeck a full replacement for Dock?+
HummingDeck can replace the focused Room, mutual action plan, contextual discussion, controlled-sharing, and document-analytics portion of Dock for teams that create and sign content elsewhere. Dock remains broader for content management, learning, AI enablement, signable order forms, e-signature, Salesforce, HubSpot, SSO, SCIM, and published SOC 2 Type II status.
Can I migrate automatically from Dock to HummingDeck?+
Rebuild the HummingDeck Room from your source documents, URLs, supported embeds, and mutual-action-plan steps. There is no automatic Dock importer. Keep the Dock workspace available until content, buyer access, discussion context, analytics needs, and signed records have been verified.
