Viewer download controls
On Starter and above, turn off the download button for supported documents. This does not prevent screenshots or other capture methods.

HummingDeck supports PDF files up to 100 MB. Upload time depends on the file size and connection.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan lets you upload documents and share trackable links. Starter and above add per-page analytics, download controls, link expiration, and analytics history.
Can I prevent viewers from downloading my PDF?
Starter, Pro, and Business plans can disable downloads on a PDF share link so the file is offered only through the online viewer. This setting does not prevent screenshots or other capture methods.
How does page-by-page analytics work?
On Starter and above, HummingDeck's online viewer records page changes and time spent to provide page-level engagement signals.
Is my PDF secure?
HummingDeck uses encrypted storage and HTTPS for data in transit. Starter and above can set expiration dates and disable downloads. On Pro and Business, only approved email addresses or domains can request a verification link. These controls manage access but cannot prevent screenshots or sharing of files already downloaded.
Can I track if someone opened a PDF I sent by email?
Instead of attaching the PDF, share a tracked link. HummingDeck records when the link opens. Personal links associate activity with a link created for an intended recipient, while views in an email-verified session on Pro and Business are associated with the address used to enter. Starter and above add page-level and return-visit signals.
Is PDF tracking free?
