If you're looking for a Proposify alternative, start with the part you want to change. Do you need a different place to write and sign proposals, or do you already have a finished file and want to track what happens after you send it?
A consultant sending a PDF needs different things from a manager who approves quotes before five reps send them. Proposify already imports PDFs and tracks viewing activity, so compare what each tool would change for your team before moving your templates.
HummingDeck is our product.

What you already get with Proposify
Proposify lets you write proposals, reuse content, build interactive quotes and collect signatures. Its Build plan costs $468 per user per year, equivalent to $39/month, or $147 per user per quarter. Build includes document analytics and integrations. Grow costs $780 per user per year and adds team controls such as roles and approvals.
You can also upload a finished PDF, up to 20 pages and 6 MB. Proposify turns the pages into images you can't edit, then lets you add signatures and track views. Its analytics show recipient history and time spent on each section. We didn't test whether imported PDFs show time on each individual page.
If your team relies on Proposify's content library, quotes, approvals and signing, staying with it makes sense. Check how many sends your agreement includes, though: different sections of its pricing page give conflicting answers.
The six alternatives
1. PandaDoc: create, approve and sign proposals
PandaDoc lets you write proposals, build quotes, get internal approval and collect signatures in one place. You can start with its editor and templates, or upload a PDF and add fields. The original PDF pages stay as they are. With a Word (.docx) file, you can use its conversion option to make the content editable in PandaDoc.
Starter begins at $19/user/month with annual billing. For recipient and page analytics, quote tools and CRM integrations, you'll need Business at $49/user/month annually or $65 paid monthly.
Business also lets you publish up to three Rooms, although Rooms aren't available on pandadoc.eu accounts. Salesforce and some automation carry extra charges, so check the price of the features your team uses.
2. Qwilr: interactive web proposals
With Qwilr, your proposal is a web page where the buyer can browse embedded content, change quote options, sign and pay. Its Starter plan costs $35/user/month annually or $49 paid monthly. It tracks activity for the page and its content blocks, and you can add paid users on Starter.
You can also start with a PDF. Qwilr's converter turns files under 25 MB into a Qwilr page. Try it with one of your own proposals and check the result before switching. Once converted, the analytics follow the web page and its blocks, so don't expect a report organized by your original PDF's page numbers.
Starter includes basic HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zoho connections. For analytics on identified viewers and CRM automation, you'll need a higher plan. Growth starts at five users billed annually, or $3,300/year, and Salesforce requires the ten-user Scale plan. A three-person team still pays for those extra seats if it needs one of those features. Our Qwilr alternatives comparison goes into more detail.
3. Better Proposals: a low entry cost for a solo seller
If you work on your own, Better Proposals gives you a place to write proposals, reuse content, add interactive pricing, collect signatures and take payments. Starter costs $13/month with annual billing, or $19 monthly, for one user and ten sends per month.
A team needs Premium, at $21/user/month annually or $29 monthly. Its 50 monthly sends are shared by everyone on the account. Adding users doesn't give you more sends. Manager approvals, simultaneous editing and internal comments require Enterprise.
You can bring in a Word document through its importer, though it won't import tables. For PDFs, the help docs explain how to link to a file hosted elsewhere. We didn't find a documented way to upload a finished PDF as the proposal itself. If keeping the original layout matters, check this before moving your files. The analytics cover the pages and sections inside the proposal.
4. GetAccept: proposals, signing and buyer Rooms
GetAccept Professional brings proposals, signing, buyer Rooms, shared action plans and engagement reports together. You can start with an existing file or template, including a PDF, then add signature and data fields.
Professional costs $49/user/month with a five-user minimum, paid annually. That means $2,940/year even if only one or three people need it. The $25 eSign plan covers signing without Professional's Rooms and detailed analytics. Payment integrations, advanced quoting tools (CPQ) and some CRM connections cost extra.
For files shared in a Room, the Files tab shows previews, downloads and participant activity. Those counts are separate from the document and Room content reports. A file preview count on its own won't tell you which PDF pages someone viewed.
5. DocSend: track and sign files you've already made
DocSend lets you upload a finished proposal, share a browser link and see viewing activity for the document and its pages. Personal costs $10/user/month annually or $15 monthly, and you can pay for more than one user. Each user adds four signable-link credits per month, shared across the company.
To share a proposal with supporting files, Standard includes basic Spaces at $45/user/month annually or $65 monthly. Verified email access and stronger controls require Advanced. For the full room analytics dashboard, you need Advanced Data Rooms.
For example, three people on Personal pay $360/year to track individual files. Three HummingDeck Pro users pay $720/year, which also includes team analytics and Rooms with document limits. The cheaper option depends on which of those things you need.
6. HummingDeck: share proposals and follow up
We built HummingDeck for proposals you've already written in Word, Slides, Canva or another editor. Upload the finished file and share a tracked link, or put the proposal, supporting documents and next steps in a buyer Room. You can upload PDF, PPTX, DOCX, spreadsheets and HTML files, up to 100 MB through the browser.
Starter costs $96/year or $10/month for one person. It includes per-page analytics, 30 days of analytics history and three Rooms with up to five documents each.
For a shared team workspace, Pro costs $240/user/year or $25/user/month. It adds team analytics, email verification and restricted links, Discussions and Decision Capture, with 15 Rooms and up to 15 documents per Room. Adding users doesn't increase the workspace's document or Room limits. Custom domains and branding require Business.
Decision Capture lets a buyer accept, request changes or decline. It records their response, but it isn't a legal e-signature, so use a signing tool when your client needs to sign a contract. Our proposal sharing page shows how sharing and tracking work. Viewing activity gives you context for following up; verified email access confirms that someone can open that inbox, without proving their legal identity or authority to make a decision.
What one, three or five sellers pay
These are annual bills in USD, calculated from the posted subscription prices. Taxes, usage charges, payment processing and optional extras aren't included. Each seller is a paid user; buyers viewing your proposal don't count as extra users. For Proposify and PandaDoc, check the final quote: their public pages don't spell out every checkout requirement or user minimum.
| Selected plan | 1 seller/year | 3 sellers/year | 5 sellers/year |
|---|---|---|---|
| Proposify Build | $468 | $1,404 | $2,340 |
| PandaDoc Business | $588 | $1,764 | $2,940 |
| Qwilr Starter | $420 | $1,260 | $2,100 |
| Better Proposals: Starter solo, Premium teams | $156 | $756 | $1,260 |
| GetAccept Professional: five-user minimum | $2,940 | $2,940 | $2,940 |
| DocSend Personal: individual files | $120 | $360 | $600 |
| DocSend Standard: basic Spaces | $540 | $1,620 | $2,700 |
| HummingDeck: Starter solo, Pro teams | $96 | $720 | $1,200 |
The one-person HummingDeck price is for Starter. If you need Pro's access controls and collaboration features on your own, it's $240/year. Better Proposals also switches plans in the table: Starter for one person, Premium for teams.
What you'll actually be billed
With Proposify Build's quarterly option, you pay $147 per user each quarter ($49/month). GetAccept Professional requires annual payment for at least five users. And Better Proposals Premium gives the whole team 50 sends a month, however many users you add.
How to choose
Try your next proposal in the plan you're considering. Check that you can bring in the content, get any internal approval you need, and send it the way you want your client to receive it. If your team uses a content library, quote rules and signing, compare Proposify with PandaDoc, Qwilr and Better Proposals. Add GetAccept if you also want buyer Rooms and shared action plans.
If you're happy creating proposals in another tool, try uploading one to DocSend, HummingDeck or Proposify itself. Check who can open the link, what viewing activity you can see and how long that history is kept. If you also need a Room, check its file limits.
I'd do that with one real proposal before moving a whole template library.
Frequently asked questions
Which Proposify alternative fits a small team?
PandaDoc, Qwilr and Better Proposals let you create and sign proposals in one place. GetAccept Professional adds buyer Rooms, but you pay for at least five users. If you already have the finished proposal, look at DocSend and HummingDeck for sharing and tracking it.
Can I keep my existing PDF proposals?
You can upload a PDF to Proposify itself, with a limit of 20 pages and 6 MB. PandaDoc, GetAccept, DocSend and HummingDeck also accept existing files, while Qwilr converts a PDF into a web page. Try one of your own proposals before moving the rest.
Is there a free Proposify alternative?
HummingDeck Free lets you share five documents, see basic viewing activity and use one Room with up to three documents. Per-page analytics start on Starter. PandaDoc has a limited free plan for uploading and signing, and DocSend offers a restricted free option after its trial. Check the document and analytics limits on each.
Can HummingDeck replace Proposify's signing workflow?
With HummingDeck Pro, your buyer can accept, request changes or decline through Decision Capture. That records their response; it isn't a legal e-signature. If your client needs to sign a contract, use a signing tool such as Proposify, PandaDoc, Qwilr, Better Proposals, GetAccept or DocSend.
How much does a three-person team pay?
Three users cost $1,404/year on Proposify Build, $756/year on Better Proposals Premium or $720/year on HummingDeck Pro. GetAccept Professional starts at $2,940/year because you must pay for at least five seats. The table above has annual costs for all six alternatives and the plans being compared.
